Coaching
Coaching has a long history primarily in the area of sports; however, in the last decade there has been a growth and recognition in the benefits of coaching on a personal level and within the corporate world. At Kinder Coach we acknowledge the benefits and value of coaching when applied to children, parents and teachers.
How does it work? Coaching is based on a non-directive discussion, which focuses on assisting an individual in the development of their own knowledge and thought processes. We create a supportive environment in which to challenge and develop essential thinking skills, ideas and behaviours.
At Kinder Coach we offer 1:1 coaching to:
Children
Children, throughout their development, will invariably experience some issue(s) that may present a barrier to them reaching their potential. We offer coaching to children between the ages of three to eighteen, the aim being to empower them so that they are able to build effective relationships and develop skills and strategies that they will be able to apply in any given situation.
Parents
We understand that the parent/child relationship is crucial to a child’s development for this reason we offer coaching to parents in order to aid them in building a unique and dynamic relationship, with their child based on love, trust, respect and understanding.
Teachers
The growth of a child will be greatly enhanced by a teacher’s capability to recognise a child’s ability and employ appropriate tools to facilitate the child’s progress throughout school years.
